“The Beast” Devours Cuzin’s Seafood – Clam Bar

Over the bridge and through the woods to Cuzin’s Seafood Bar we go. In Marlboro New Jersey is where you can find Cuzin’s Seafood – Clam Bar. With a large dining room and plenty of outside seating this is definitely a hot spot in the area. Pre covid they had a great bar scene but even with the current restrictions they have not lost a beat.

“The Beast” and crew arrived with valet service readily available. We entered through the doors, announced ourselves and were immediately shown to our table. Drink orders were taken and served without any hesitation. We toasted to our evening while contemplating the menu. Do not be miss led by the name of the restaurant. It is far from just seafood. They have an extensive selection for the land lubbers. Especially with their selection of steaks.

We selected several appetizers to share for the table to start our meal. It was a tough choice because everything sounded so appetizing. But choices had to be made. We agreed on the lobster stuffed silver dollar mushrooms, Asian style crispy calamari, Cuzin’s baked clams and the oysters Rockefeller. As tasty as everything was, the two standouts were the lobster stuffed silver dollar mushrooms and the Oysters Rockefeller. As for the entree’s that hit the table, it was clear that the “Angry Lobster” and the “Long Bone Tomahawk” steak took top prize.

The service was on point as we did not to ask for anything twice and we were checked on regularly. The restaurant was buzzing all night with a fun crowd. If you are looking for a place to try and want something that is lively, don’t wait any longer and get over to Cuzin’s Seafood – Clam bar. It’s a fantastic place to go as a party of two or with a large group.
